Research Finding :
The wages of employees—especially women—rise after a male CEO's wife delivers a DAUGHTER who is the couple's first child !!
Female employees' salaries grow an average of 1.1% after the birth, compared with a 0.6% gain for males.
Underlying reason ? Psychology ?
Past research suggests that men sometimes care more about other people's well-being after having daughters.
When male CEOs have sons, workers' salaries did not change .
