| Internet Users Vote No on Personalized Ads |
| Consumers are a lot less enthusiastic about targeted offers than marketers imagine. 66% of respondents to a 2009 survey of 1,000 adult internet users living in the U.S. say they don't want websites to show them ads tailored to their interests, and 49% say they don't even want personalized discount offers, says an HBR.org blog post by Tom Davenport of Babson College. |
